I’m a wedding photographer first and foremost these days. I love capturing people’s love stories more than anything in the world. But before I was a wedding photographer, I was a family photographer and I’ll always make time for a few families…they were my first love after all.
Last weekend I got the chance to go back to where I started: a cypress preserve in the Mississippi delta and it was magical. I had the best time hanging out with this amazing mother and her son. My goal for this session was to focus on the love of a mother for her child and to try to capture this relationship as best as I could. When I got home and edited the session, I must say I even surprised myself.
I’m going to offer a few bluebonnet sessions here in Texas if anyone is interested, I’ll be posting the link tomorrow on my Facebook and Instagram. I’d love to work with a few families (or couples) here to capture your stories.
