“She sparkles like a diamond, she twinkles like a star. She’s like a ray of sunshine that always melts my heart….”~Aaron Watson
Yesterday Tammy and Josh were wed in Franklin, TX at the Bright Star Ranch and Resort in front of all their friends and family and it was beautiful and magical and everything a wedding should be. I can’t wait to blog their big day, but first I get to share Tammy’s amazing bridal portraits!!
A few weeks ago, we met up and explored the campus of Texas A&M University. This was my first on-campus session since moving back and it meant a lot of me to share it with someone I’ve known since my college days at Texas A&M. Tammy and I met so many years ago that we don’t even remember how we met or who we met through. We’ve kept in touch through social media over the years but haven’t gotten to hang out this much in way too long. I had so much fun catching up with her and sharing in the excitement of her big day.
We explored the Administration Building which has the most amazing light and windows and stairs I’ve ever seen in a building. After that we went to the Century Tree which is an iconic 100+ year old tree on campus. They say that if you walk under the century tree with someone you will marry them and if you are proposed to under the tree the marriage will last forever. What a magnificent place for a bride to have her photos taken!
Congratulations on your wedding, Tammy. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your love story! I can not wait to share the images from your big day in a later blog post!
