A Story of Passion and Purpose

My journey as an artist began with a simple camera I received at age six. I used roll after roll of film to capture imaginary worlds and stories, much to the dismay of my mother’s bank account. While my creative path took a detour through Texas A&M University, where I earned a degree in Poultry Science (yes, I’m an Aggie-WHOOP), my soul always knew what I was meant to do. Taking pictures and documenting my life has been a constant part of who I am as a person. This passion has fueled my journey throughout the years and led me to being a full time photographer.

Now, as a professional photographer, I get to use my art to tell your story. My approach is rooted in calming your anxieties and finding beauty in every moment. I’ve honed this skill in my 17 years as a wedding photographer.

What I Bring to Your Wedding Day

My life is a beautiful mix of creativity and chaos, much like the weddings I photograph. My family, which consists of my husband of 18 years and our two lively kids, fill our home with noise and laughter. I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Animals are a big part of who I am. Our home is always full of pets. If you have a dog, I’ll be the first one to greet them with my best “good dog” voice and a pocket full of treats. I believe the best photos happen when everyone, including your furry family members, feel comfortable and happy.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me outside. I’m usually running and training for marathons, or simply enjoying nature through hiking, camping, kayaking, or gardening. I’m a person who thrives on new experiences, which is why I love weddings- each one is as unique as the couple celebrating it. This passion for creativity and my ability to embrace the unexpected are what I bring to every wedding day.

I won’t let you feel awkward or uneasy with me. I’ll do everything in my power to ease your anxiety in front of my lens.

Navigating family photos smoothly so you can get to the celebration faster is my specialty.
